Yes, given my height, apparel always needs some sort of alterations but this is the closest to fitting perfect. The alterations will be minimal. The satin fabric steams out easily and has a little stretch to it. It's light weight, which I prefer, for events this summer. At least I won't melt under a heavy fabric.

While I agree with the other review that the top satin material is very shiny/trash baggy, I have to say the fit is incredible. I love that it comes with pockets and built-in tulle under so it floofs out. Unfortunately because it's a solid color in the material it's in, it feels very delicate and shows any lump or crinkle of the dress layers under it. I'll probably return this one and keep the floral one.

The cut is super flattering and it's a little dressier than I expected (which wasn't a good thing in my case). My biggest issue was how large it ran, particularly in the top. I am a smaller D cup but my upper body tends to just run smaller than the rest of me. This looks super awkward and bulky on the sides and would have needed to be taken in in multiple areas. It was also a little bit longer on me than I would've liked but I'm only 5'4 so that's a common issue. Probably could've been altered to fit better but the material looks super cheap and I didn't think it was worth it. Between the weird fit and the shiny material it gave me the look of wearing a trash bag. I am always a true 2 in Torrid clothes and ordered my normal size.

If you have big breast. You need to get a belt or something because it folds over the seem and makes it look worse. Honestly was extremely disappointed

I am a size 24, but I know Torrid sizes run small for dresses, and often do not accommodate large bellies or bust areas. After receiving the dress and trying it on, it was still too small in the bust area. I needed this dress short notice for a wedding reception, and now I have nothing to wear. I am extremely disappointed in Torrid. As a plus size brand, they should know that bigger women have bigger bust areas, and make clothes accordingly. What a waste of time and money. I will be getting refunded for this, shipping included.
